Hello fellow JROA Homeowners,
My name is Laura Arnold and I have served as President of the Jeremy Ranch Owners Association Board of Trustees for the past three years. This position has been both challenging and rewarding. During my time on the Board, and with the hard work and dedication of the entire Board, the Jeremy Ranch Owners Association has evolved to become a proactive, transparent and forward-thinking organization whose sole mission is to serve our members and make Jeremy Ranch the best it can be.
Along with my husband Jim (Arnold), we have lived in Jeremy Ranch for 10-years. We have three grown children and 5 grandchildren. Two of our children live in Park City and are very active in the community. Three of our grandchildren live here and we enjoy keeping up with their activities in Park City. We are also members of the Jeremy Ranch Golf and Country Club as is our son’s family. As individuals and as a group we enjoy the activities the club offers to us.
Over the past 36 years I have served on many HOA Boards, PTO Boards, Foundation Boards, Community Boards and Recreation/Park Boards. I have happily volunteered thousands of hours of my time, always with the goal of making the community in which we live a better place for all. With Jim’s numerous corporate moves, my volunteer efforts have moved from Smyrna, GA to Sugarland, TX to Carmel, IN to Huntington, NY and now to Park City. One of my favorite highlights was my efforts at the grass-roots level in building a playground which ultimately led to a development of a Park System in Carmel Indiana. This past year that Park System, now 25 years old, was voted #1 in the nation. Other highlights include developing and establishing one of the top summer camps in Houston, TX, succeeding in getting a large bond passed to renovate an elementary school in Carmel, IN and building a family friendly room in Huntington Hospital for families to use while a family member is fighting cancer.
For the past 20 years I have owned my own Professional Organizing Business where I have worked with Businesses, Non Profits and individuals needing my help. I am extremely fortunate to have lived in 13 states and Puerto Rico and to have traveled the world. These experiences have helped me in my business and in my volunteer positions. I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know many of you better and I hope to meet more of you this year.
